Özet

The aim of the research is to examine the knowledge and technology leadership competencies of education administrators, one of the 21st century skills, in terms of ISTE standards. In the research conducted as a qualitative case study, the opinions of school principals, assistant principals, branch managers and district national education directors were consulted. While the data obtained with the questionnaire form were analyzed using arithmetic mean and standard deviation techniques, descriptive analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data obtained using the semi-structured interview form. Education administrators evaluated themselves in line with 5 main objectives and 22 sub-targets, and it was understood that their information and communication technology competencies were high. Again, in their opinions on the 5 main indicators, they stated that the use of information and communication technologies in order to increase the quality of education has gained great importance in recent years.
