Language teaching classrooms are encounter areas for international students and different cultures. However, the social lives of language learners do not consist only of the classroom, school and environment. All areas where learners' social lives continue have an impact on their education and training process. In this context, it was felt necessary to address the issue together with the concepts of language teaching that have been widely discussed in recent years, such as intercultural interaction and inclusive education. Intercultural interaction, which is now accepted as a skill area in language learning, also covers social life areas outside the school or language teaching center. Based on this understanding, the study discussed what these effects are, their causes and consequences on international students who continue their academic life in Turkey. First of all, interviews were held with the students studying at Gazi University Turkish Learning Research and Application Center in the 2022-2023 academic year through semi-structured interview forms. The data obtained as a result of the interviews were analyzed in accordance with qualitative research methods. Some solution suggestions have been offered for the identified problems. In the results of working; It has been determined that international students attending postgraduate education have higher awareness of intercultural communication than students studying at undergraduate level, all participants are satisfied with the academic environment in Turkey, and they encounter discriminatory behavior more in social life than in the schools and other institutions they are affiliated with.
