Âşık Veysel, one of the most important poets of the 20th century, has made a name for himself in the following centuries with his personality that keeps his joy of life alive and constantly produces new works despite the difficulties he has experienced and has been the subject of many studies. In this study, it is aimed to examine the reflections of Âşık Veysel's poems on the Life Sciences Course Curriculum in terms of knowledge, basic life skills, achievement and core values and document review is used. The data sources of the study consist of 20 poems by Âşık Veysel and the 2023 Life Sciences Course Curriculum. Âşık Veysel's poems were examined in terms of knowledge and were associated with the program. Then, the poems were examined in terms of basic life skills, achievements and core values in the 2023 Life Sciences Course Curriculum. In the data analysis process, both descriptive and content analysis were used. As a result of the research, the information dimension of Âşık Veysel's poems was associated with the units “Life in Our School”, “Life in Our Country”, “Healthy Life” and “Life in Nature” in the program. It was also concluded that the poems were associated mostly with observation skills among the basic life skills and with patriotism among the root values.
