Abstract
Osman Çeviksoy’un romanlarını kök değerler açısından incelemeyi amaçlayan bu çalışmada tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın inceleme materyalini Osman Çeviksoy’un Başıma Dağlar Düştü, Ömrümüz Gurbet ve Bebiha adlı romanları oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın verileri betimsel analiz tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda, romanlarda değerlerin 204defa kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. En çok kullanılan kök değer sevgi (f=53) olup onu sorumluluk (f=37), yardımseverlik (f=35), saygı (f=31), dostluk (f=12), dürüstlük (f=11), öz denetim (f=8), vatanseverlik (f=7), sabır (f=6), adalet (f=4) değerleri takip etmiştir. Eserlerde, kök değerlerden en az yer verilenin adalet olduğu belirlenmiştir. Buna göre Osman Çeviksoy’un romanlarının değerler açısından zengin olduğu tespit edilmiş olup bu eserlerin değerler eğitimi açısından da önemli olduğu kanısına varılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda önerilere yer verilmiştir.

Özet
In In this study, which aims to examine Osman Çeviksoy’s novels in terms of root values, scanning method was used. The study material of the study consists of Osman Çeviksoy’s novels called Dağlar fell to my head, Our Life is Gurbet and Bebiha. The data of the study were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. At the end of the study, it was determined that the values were used 204 times in the novels. The most commonly used root value is love (f=53), followed by responsibility (f=37), helpfulness (f=35), respect (f=31), friendship (f=12), honesty (f=11), self-control. (f=8), patriotism (f=7), patience (f=6) and justice (f=4) values were followed. It has been determined that justice is the least used root value in the works. Accordingly, it has been determined that Osman Çeviksoy’s novels are rich in values, and it has been concluded that these works are also important in terms of values education. Suggestions are given at the end of the study.
