This research is a descriptive study aimed at examining etude number 15 in J. F. Mazas's op.36 "Etudes Speciales" method, which is used in viola education in institutions where instrument education is given, in terms of right and left hand usage and musical dynamics. Content analysis method was used in the research. The sample of the research was “J. It consists of etude number 15 in the etüde book "F. Mazas Op.36 Etudes Speciales". Document scanning technique was used to collect data in the research. While examining the etude, different rhythm patterns, bow shapes, position transitions, articulation situations and mordent application styles were explained on a meter basis and study suggestions were presented in line with the findings obtained by the researcher. It has been understood that the etude consists of 41 measures, is written in the F major tone employs the mordent ornament type, mordent patterns are written clearly in the etude, aims to make the I, II, III, IV, V position transitions correctly, and also legato, tenuto and dependent staccato techniques are applied
